Lubeck

We're in Lubeck, home to a gate... and a lot of marzipan? This is the gate, but I didn't manage to get the bottom half in the shot.

Here's the gate in marzipan form. Neat.

Old recipe book. Marzipan was seen as a "natural remedy," though I'm not sure what it was supposed to heal.

We also went to a church called Lubeck Dome. It has a lot of beautiful stuff inside.

Had Greek for lunch. Nice saganaki.

We finished off the day at the Hamburg Botanical Garden. It's a pretty big place with lots of variety.
